After a pleasurable day on the river, what better than to relax with a dram in the homely atmosphere of the Archiestown Hotel. As one of Speyside's premier fishing hotels, the Archiestown is well known for it's comfort, good food, wine and friendly staff. Only five minutes from the river, you will be made welcome by proprietors Ros and Phillip Lewis. Your stay will be on a dinner bed and breakfast basis, with packed lunch also provided.

Alternatively, for anyone who wishes, I have a good friend who runs the best B&B on Speyside. Speyburn House, Either way you will not be disappointed.

Birchbank House is situated in an acre of woodland, in the beautiful Spey Valley, at the southern end of Ben Aigan, on the edge of the village of Craigellachie, 2 ½ miles from Aberlour in Morayshire.
